Learn Guitar With The Beatles

If you're just starting out to learn guitar here's one piece of advice you should heed. Get yourself a decent chord chart and learn the basic chords. Memorize your major, minor and dominant seventh chords. That's pretty much all you need to be able to start playing some songs.

It cannot be stressed enough that practice is important and the best way to practice your chords is by playing songs. Go ahead and strum along to your favorite tune. I would recommend songs by the greatest band of all time, The Beatles. You can start out with something as basic as "Twist and Shout" or "Eight Days A Week." It's up to you but I can assure you being able to play songs from The Beatles catalogue is worth it.
